In 2021 alone, Amazon created 4,500 new permanent jobs at its 50 sites in Italy. Not only that: according to a study by The European House – Ambrosetti, Amazon is the private company that has created more jobs in Italy in the last 10 years.
“We provide work – they explain to Amazon – to people of any origin and age: more than 100 nationalities are represented in our Italian offices and the average age of Amazon employees in Italy is 34 years. It also offers job opportunities to people in older age. All Amazon employees receive a competitive salary from day one: the starting salary is 1,680 euros per month, 8% more than the standard salary set by the National Contract for the transport and logistics sector ” .
