The doctor had advised the woman with cancer to carry out four diagnostic tests by the date of the next consultation. The desk she turned to to book, with public health, had given her availability for the end of 2025. The woman found herself forced to turn to the private sector, which at a cost of 422 euros was able to arrange the visits for Friday 7 March despite being exempt from the ticket.

History

The woman went to the CGIL in Bergamo on Wednesday 5 March to talk about her experience with public health. The oncologist treating the woman had indicated class P on the prescriptions: programmable, it involves a mammogram, a breast ultrasound, a chest x-ray and an ultrasound of the complete abdomen which the woman should have done by the next consultation doctor. She said that to do this type of exam you have to wait at least 6 months and she decided to take action as soon as possible by calling on the phone to book the visit. The availability given to him to carry out all 4 tests is for the end of 2025. The patient consequently found herself forced to go to a private clinic which immediately gave her availability but unfortunately she will be forced to shell out 422 euros
