The councilor for health policies welcomes you Raffaele Donini, who this morning in the Region in viale Aldo Moro he wanted to meet i Welfare directors recently appointed, the first ever to fill this new role. It’s about Andrea Contini (ASL Piacenza), Emilio Cammi (ASL and Parma Hospital), Antonio Boccia Zoboli (ASL Reggio Emilia), Annarita Garzia (Modena hospital company), Annamaria Ferraresi (ASL Modena), Stefania Dal Rio (ASL Bologna), Stefano Durante (Bologna hospital company), Sabrina Gabrielli (ASL Imola), Colombian brand (ASL and Ferrara hospital), Mauro Taglioni (ASL Romagna).
Il welfare director he is a figure foreseen by a recent amendment to the regional law on the organization and financing of healthcare companies and has the task of participate in the definition of company strategies, in synergy with all members of the strategic management, promoting the development of health professions (nurses, midwives, health technicians, technical health professions, rehabilitation and prevention)with the aim of an increasingly effective and integrated health response.
Before the institution at regional level, out of 12 regional healthcare companies, albeit with different names, 5 already included this figure as part of the strategic component and another 4 referred to it in the involvement of the definition of the company’s strategic lines.
“In full respect of the autonomy of the local health authorities,” he underlined Donini– we offered them the possibility of institutionalizing this situation, convinced that this figure can contribute to strengthening and further qualifying patient care and assistance services”.
