Fixed network, fiber and mobile with the same operator: these are the advantages. Guide to available offers

Up to five euros a month discount on the fee and / or a considerable increase in the GB available. These are the typical advantages that we can obtain if we entrust the fixed network and mobile sims to the same operator, according to what emerges from an analysis of the offers now in force.
It appears that Italian operators have been pushing more in recent months on offers of this type. That is, they reward users who get more services from them, fixed and mobile. However, they do it in a different way than in the past, when there were only “rigid” converging offers, which required, in short, to take the entire package together, fixed and mobile with the same activation. There is now more flexibility to reduce the barrier to entry. They allow those who are already fixed network customers to combine one (or more) mobile sims at a reduced price, even with number portability. Or to those who already have a mobile sim to access fixed offers at a discounted price.

Tim

It must be said that some operators, such as Tim and Vodafone, offer more alternatives and opportunities. Others, on the other hand, focus on a few simple solutions. Tim is characterized by the Unica range, which has a unique formula on the market. Anyone who has a fixed network at home with Tim, and domiciliation on a current account or card, can combine the offer with six mobile numbers of their choice, also in the name of people other than the landline owner. or brought to Tim (with mobile operator change) and, with Unica, they receive unlimited gigabytes in Italy plus 6 GB in Europe. As a condition of fair use, Tim stipulates that a maximum of 600 GB per month can be exchanged, which is a very generous amount. It is usually only exceeded on a familiar Wi-Fi network with various devices connected (including the TV for streaming; my router reports that on fiber I touch 700 GB per month). Tim also has mobile offers dedicated to those who have a landline with her: Premium Family, 9.99 euros per month for 5 GB in 5G, unlimited minutes and text messages; the user can still convert it to unlimited GB if he makes it sim Unica.

Vodafone

Vodafone, on the other hand, also has a discounted offer on landlines: Internet Unlimited – 2.5 Gigabit fiber – costs 2 euros a month less for those who have mobile phones with this operator; 22.90 euros per month. It also has a different type of offer: Family + at 9.99 euros per month, all unlimited, exclusive for those who have a fixed network with this operator. In addition, Vodafone has “converging” offers all included : € 34.90 per month for Family Plan, which includes fiber up to 2.5 Gigabit, unlimited minutes at home and on the sim, where SMS and GB are also unlimited, in 5G.There are also more expensive packages (39.90 and 44.90 euros per month) for additional services such as backup on 4G, Wi-Fi extender, Netflix. These offers are only available on full fiber (i.e. on OpenFiber network).

Wind Tre and Fastweb

The packages of other operators are simpler. Wind Tre’s Super Fibra and Super Fibra & Netflix are exclusive to this operator’s mobile customers. At 22.99 and 33.99 euros per month (respectively, they include 1 Gigabit, 12 months of Amazon Prime, unlimited GB “for the whole family” (up to three sims). The second offer has an additional Netflix standard plan. in the case of Vodafone, these offers are only available on full fiber (i.e. on the OpenFiber network). Maximum simplicity with Fastweb, which also directly shows the advantages that can be obtained if you combine landline and mobile: four euros discount on the total 150 GB instead of 90 GB. At a cost of 33.90 euros per month you have ultra-broadband (with variable speed depending on the area), plus a sim with unlimited minutes, 100 sms and 150 GB. Specifically, you can see that the advantages are only on the cost of the mobile package.
