In a bid to prioritize women’s health, the Bergamo Hospital is offering free gynecological visits for menopausal women on specific dates in April. The visits will take place on Thursday 18th, Friday 19th, and Wednesday 24th, with reservations required. Additionally, on Saturday 13th April, the hospital will host a conference titled “The heart of women” at the “Lucio Parenzan” Auditorium of the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital. The event, organized in collaboration with the Cuore Batticuore ODV association and the Department of Social Policies of the Municipality of Bergamo, aims to shed light on the impact of being a woman on cardiovascular diseases and treatment responses.
Furthermore, on Monday 22nd April, the Asst Pope John XXIII will offer its employees the opportunity to undergo HPV screening at the Bergamo hospital and family clinics in Bergamo and Villa d’Almé. Additionally, 260 facilities in the Bollino Rosa network have joined Onda’s (H) Open Week, providing free clinical, diagnostic, and information services in various specialist areas.
This initiative is part of the Onda Ets Foundation’s efforts to recognize hospitals that prioritize services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of female pathologies.
