IMSS in Mexico State strengthens medical infrastructure with 445 new specialists

The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Ecatepec, State of Mexico, has recently welcomed 445 new medical specialists to its team. These specialists will be working in 11 hospitals, three Ambulatory Care Medical Units, 43 Family Medicine Units, and a Breast Clinic.

This increase in medical personnel is aimed at improving the quality of care for the approximately 4.5 million IMSS beneficiaries in the Eastern region of Mexico, spread across 58 municipalities.

According to the Head of Personal Development Services at IMSS, this new wave of hiring will enhance the productivity of specialized medical services. The new recruits cover a wide range of specialties, including family medicine, pathology, anesthesiology, cardiology, surgery, pediatrics, geriatrics, and more.

The addition of these specialists will help meet the diverse healthcare needs of the community and ensure that patients receive the best possible care.IMSS continues to prioritize the well-being of its beneficiaries by investing in the recruitment of highly skilled medical professionals.
