Maddalenini patients hospitalized in Olbia, Tempio and Sassari. Silence of the regional political class
LA MADDALENA. A month ago the closure of Medicine of the hospital decided by the Assl of Olbia. After 30 days the doors of the Paolo Merlo ward remain sealed: the Maddalenini patients who were hospitalized have been transferred to Olbia, Tempio and Sassari and the new ones are sorted among the health facilities available.
The reason for the closure remains the same that prevented the Assl from following up on the prefect’s reopening order. There is no medical staff, some doctors are obliged to take holidays and even the emergency room is unmanned. After the positions taken in the first days, with the fiery words of the mayor Fabio Lai, his symbolic gesture of protest of the lowering of the flag with the four Moors and the rearrangement of the banner for the optimistic interlocutions with the Region, in a month nothing is changed.
