There are 10 viruses “under special surveillance” because they are indicated byOms as “with greater pandemic potential”. They could be the cause of a new, future pandemic. The new Pandemic Plan 2024-2028 shows the viruses at greatest risk, based on findings by the World Health Organization, which, in its draft version, also identifies 4 different alert stages to which correspond gradual response measures.
