Round of 20 million for Habyt, the co-living startup with an Italian brain

Founded in 2017 in Berlin by Luca Bovone, former manager at Dropbox, it has become a reference point for those looking for fully furnished rooms and apartments for residential use in Europe. Germany, Spain, Italy (in Milan) and Portugal, for the moment, are the countries where Habyt’s service is active through the digital platform of the same name but the company’s goal is not to stop, focusing in particular on France. and Italy and some Asian markets.
Supporting the development plan will be the second round of financing of 20 million euros just concluded, which saw the participation of Holtzbrink, Vorwerk, Picus Capital and P101 Sgr (through its second investment vehicle P102 and Italia 500 – Azimut Group) and which brings the total capital raised by the startup to 26 million euros.
In announcing the above operation, Habyt also formalized the acquisition (the fourth in the last year, after those of Goliving, Erasmo’s Room and Quarters) of another German co-living company, homefully, expanding with one thousand housing units its own portfolio of offerings which now includes over 5,000 housing solutions in 15 cities in six different countries. The various proposals are characterized by what Habyt managers call an “end-to-end digital experience”: the whole process can in fact be managed online through the platform, from the first contact to the delivery of the smart key up to post check out support.
