Computer sales are falling again: perhaps the fault is also the fact that the grip of the pandemic is weakening, which in the last couple of years it had given a decisive boost to the purchases of people and companies.

It remains at the top of the list of best-selling brands Lenovo, which however goes from 20.1 million units in the first quarter of 2021 to 18.2 million today (-10%). The drop is even more evident for the second largest producer in the world, Hp, which sold 15.9 million computers compared to 18.8 million a year ago (-16%); the numbers of Dellwhich gained 1% from the previous quarter (13.8 million against 13.6).

Decidedly growing Applewith 7.1 million fixed and portable computers globally, up from 6.6 million units in 2021 (+ 8%): according to analysts, one of the sectors that allowed the Cupertino company to gain ground it is that of the school, especially in the United States, where the MacBooks are reducing the distances towards Chromebooksthat last year and for the first time they had overtaken Apple and they are liked both for their low cost and for their ease of use.
