Alzheimer, a drug approved in the US that slows down the disease

A drug that would be able to slow (but not stop) the progression of Alzheimer’s, Leqembi, has been approved by the FDA, the US regulatory agency. The medicine is produced by the companies Eisai and Biongen. The procedure that led to the green light has accelerated and for this the producers will have to conduct other studies.
