Beginning at 08:00 on April 15 and lasting until 08:00 on April 16, thunderstorms with levels 8-10 are predicted in eastern and southern Hubei, central and northern Hunan, central and northern Jiangxi, eastern Sichuan, western Chongqing, central and western Guizhou, and northeastern Guizhou. Strong winds and hail are also expected, with localized winds reaching level 11 or above.

Additionally, areas in eastern and southern Hubei, central and northern Hunan, southwestern Hunan, central and northern Jiangxi, western Fujian, eastern Sichuan, southwestern and eastern Chongqing, and parts of Guizhou and Guangxi may experience short-term heavy rainfall, with hourly precipitation reaching 20-50 mm and possibly exceeding 60 mm in some locations.

The most significant impact of the severe weather is expected to occur from afternoon to night today.

Authorities are urging residents and officials to take precautions, including preparing for heavy rain, lightning, and strong winds, as well as implementing hail prevention measures. Outdoor activities should be limited, livestock should be brought indoors, structures should be secured, and drainage systems should be checked and prepared for potential flooding.

It is essential for residents and authorities in the affected areas to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during this period of severe weather.
