CASTEL SAN GIORGIO – He is shaken but will not be intimidated. Arturo Sessa, general secretary of the CGIL of Salerno, was overheard yesterday afternoon by the carabinieri of the Castel San Giorgio station, who started the investigation into the attack suffered by the well-known trade unionist. In the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, unknown persons targeted his car, a Fiat Panda parked in the backyard as usual. Due to the heat, at 4 in the morning the mother of the CGIL secretary was already awake: she heard noises coming from outside. The woman looked out the window, seeing some shadows in the courtyard that wandered around her son’s car. Worried, she immediately alerted the trade unionist who at first, however, did not give credit to her mother’s concerns.
