Caught with drugs while leaving school, janitor arrested – News

A 32-year-old janitor born in Turin but resident in Mezzano, a hamlet on the outskirts of Ravenna, was arrested on Wednesday morning by the mobile police squad outside the school in the Ravenna countryside where he works – a complex with elementary and middle schools – because he was found with 2.5 grams of cocaine in the pouch as well as a precision scale and 5.5 grams of cutting substance (bicarbonate).
Nothing was found in his locker at school – as reported by the two local newspapers – while at his home another approximately 35 grams of hashish and two 30-30 caliber Winchester bullets were found. Furthermore, in the car he had brass knuckles capable of giving electric shocks.
The man, defended by the lawyer Enrico Ferri, claimed in Court that he had never dealt, especially to students, but that the drug was for personal use and that the bicarbonate served as a base for smoking cocaine. While on the two bullets, he said he wanted to make key rings out of them.
After the validation of the arrest carried out by Narcotics, he was released again with the obligation to sign daily while awaiting trial.
