Changzhou Municipal Committee Adjusts Main Leaders of Political and Legal Committee
On July 10th, the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal Party Committee held a cadre meeting to announce the decision of the Municipal Party Committee on the adjustment of the main leaders of the Political and Legal Committee. Municipal party secretary Chen Jinhu attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The Changzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China has decided that Comrade Ji Peidong will be the secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Changzhou Municipal Committee.
During the meeting, Chen Jinhu emphasized that the adjustment of cadres was a decision made by the municipal party committee based on the overall situation and with careful research. The entire municipal legal system must fully support this decision and align their thoughts and actions accordingly.
Chen Jinhu also praised the achievements of the municipal and legal system in recent years. He called for the system to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on Jiangsu’s work. He stressed the importance of adhering to the path of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics, continuing with reform and innovation, and improving the modernization of Changzhou’s municipal legal work.
In order to provide a strong political and legal guarantee, Chen Jinhu urged the system to stabilize the political direction and adhere to political roots and soul. This entails following the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and maintaining absolute loyalty and political qualities.
Furthermore, Chen Jinhu emphasized the importance of abiding by political disciplines and rules, implementing instructions and reporting major matters, and ensuring the full implementation of decisions made by central, provincial, and municipal committees.
Chen Jinhu also highlighted the need to shoulder the mission of political and legal work. The focus should be on serving high-quality development, improving the legal business environment, and ensuring the well-being of the people. The construction of the rule of law in Changzhou, the fight against crime and evil, and the improvement of grassroots governance were also emphasized.
Establishing a clear orientation and forging the image of a political and legal iron army was another key point made by Chen Jinhu. This includes strengthening discipline and supervision, improving effectiveness, and cultivating a spirit of innovation and diligence within the political and legal system.
At the meeting, Ji Peidong, the newly appointed secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, also delivered a speech.
The meeting was attended by Yu Guiping, deputy mayor and director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, Cao Zhongming, president of the Municipal Intermediate Court, Chen Xingsheng, chief prosecutor of the Municipal Procuratorate, members of the municipal legal units, and all cadres of the Municipal Political and Legal Committee.
