The decline in the epidemic curca in Italy continues, even if in the last week the pace has definitely slowed down, and a stabilization can be seen. Yesterday there were 2,968 new infections and 33 victims.
VALLE D’AOSTA
Thirteen positive cases (12 in the 24 hours between Saturday and Sunday, only one in the last 24), but also five recovered (three on Saturday, two on Sunday) increase the number of infections from Covid-19 in Valle d’Aosta by eight units in last 48 hours: a total of 90 people are currently positive, of which 87 in home isolation and three hospitalized in the infectious diseases department of the regional hospital Umberto Parini in Aosta. The number of swabs reported on Saturday was 207, on Sunday just 22.
TRENTINO
A new bereavement extends the list of deaths from Covid-19 in Trentino: it is a man in his nineties, not vaccinated. A fifth patient was hospitalized in intensive care and the number of Covid patients admitted to the hospital rose to 21 where yesterday 2 new entries were registered and no one was discharged. Meanwhile, vaccinations have reached 747,674, including 344,518 second doses and 2,326 third doses.
SOUTH TYROL
In South Tyrol there are only 9 new cases of Covid-19 recorded yesterday but with few swabs processed, 1,443. No deaths linked to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours for a figure that remains stable at 1,194 since the beginning of the pandemic. However, hospital admissions of covid-positive people are on the rise. In just one day, the increase was 4 new admissions to normal wards for a total of 32 (yesterday there were 28). Patients needing intensive care treatment remain at 5. Out of 241,338 people subjected to molecular swab, 50,934 were positive while 28,103 were those tested positive to an antigen test. The total healed are 77,005.
PIEDMONT
Two deaths, of which 1 relative to today, 78 new cases and a stable number of hospitalized: these are the data from the Covid bulletin of the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region. Intensive care patients remain 23 (like yesterday), in the other departments the overall figure rises to 191 (+ 2). The positive share is 0.5%, with 15,968 diagnostic swabs processed of which 13,076 antigenic. The number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 11,765. There are 3,310 people in home isolation, 139 new healed.
VENETO
There are 181 new positives (yesterday there were 264) in Veneto in the last 24 hours .. No victims reported. There are 470,476 cases in the region since the beginning of the pandemic which also recorded a total of 11,778 victims. The report of the Region reports it. Currently positive people are 10,391 (+45). The hospitalized in the medical areas are 215 (-2), those in intensive care 54 (+2).
LOMBARDY
There are 106 new cases of Covid-19 registered in Lombardy since yesterday, compared to 15,695 swabs carried out. Since February 2020, the combined total of cases is 15,209,848. There have been 6 deaths since yesterday, for a total of 34,060. There are currently 56 patients in intensive care (-1) and 347 in ordinary Covid wards (-12).
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
There are 19 new cases of Covid-19 registered today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, against a low number of swabs performed, like every Monday. Out of 1,523 molecular infections, 15 infections emerged, another 4 from 942 rapid tests. No one death, 10 people hospitalized in intensive care, 37 in other wards and 888 are in isolation. The data was communicated by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. The deaths related to Covid in the region are in total 3,824 so far. The totally healed are 109,189, the clinically cured 44, the positives altogether 113,992.
LIGURIA
There are 38 new cases of covid registered in Liguria in the last 24 hours, compared to 2,580 swabs, of which 1,641 are molecular and 939 rapid antigenic tests. The positivity rate is 1.47%, which becomes 2.32% for molecular swabs alone. There are 19 new cases in the metropolitan area of Genoa, all in ASL 3 and none in ASL 4 Chiavarese, another 11 cases in La Spezia, five in the Savona area and three in the Imperia area. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the cases detected in Liguria have risen to 112,953, compared to 1,643,033 molecular swabs, to which 702,285 rapid antigenic tests have been added since 14 January. No new deaths, with the death toll remaining at 4,412.
EMILIA ROMAGNA
In Emilia Romagna there are 244 new positives out of a total of 11,798 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made is 2.06%, a value “not indicative of the general trend – specifies the Region – given the number of tampons performed, which on Sunday is lower than on other days”. Furthermore, on holidays “especially the molecular ones are made primarily on cases for which a positive result is often expected”. There are two new deaths: an 89-year-old man in the province of Parma and an 81-year-old woman in Ravenna.
TUSCANY
The weekly trend of the Coronavirus epidemic in Tuscany begins with the minus sign. Today there are 131 new cases out of 7,124 swabs. Today in Lazio “out of 8,825 molecular swabs and 4,528 antigenic swabs for a total of 13,353 swabs, there are 240 new positive cases (-38), 3 deaths (stable data), 365 hospitalized (+11), 57 intensive care (+1) and 364 recovered. The ratio between positives and swabs is 1.7%. Cases in Rome city are at 132 “. This was underlined by the councilor for health of the Lazio Region, Alessio D’Amato, in the daily Covid bulletin.
WALK
In the last 24 hours, 18 new cases of ‘Covid-19’ have been identified in the Marche region, 4.6% compared to only 395 swabs processed within the path for new diagnoses (yesterday the ratio was 3.4% , with 66 cases out of 1,921 swabs); the cumulative incidence rate per 100 thousand inhabitants continues to drop and is now at 29.90 (yesterday it was at 30.43). This can be learned from the daily bulletin of the regional health service. The total of positives identified since the beginning of the crisis has risen to 114,092.
ABRUZZO
There are 14 (referring to people aged between 11 and 96 years) the cases of Covid-19 registered today in Abruzzo and results from the 2,309 tests carried out (1,253 molecular swabs and 1,056 antigenic tests) with the total number of infections that, from the beginning of the emergency , rise to 81,380. The death toll of patients records a new case and rises to 2546 (she is a 73 year old from the province of Chieti). The number of positive cases also includes 77,162 discharged / healed (+99 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / cured and deceased from the total of positives) are 1,672 (-86 compared to yesterday. The total also includes 427 cases concerning patients lost to follow-up since the beginning of emergency, on which checks are in progress). There are 54 patients (+1 compared to yesterday) hospitalized in the medical area; 5 (unchanged compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 1,613 (-87 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,418,679 molecular swabs and 845,745 antigen tests have been performed. The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 0.60 percent.
MOLISE
The numbers of the pandemic in Molise are still decreasing even in the past week. In the last seven days there have been 20 new cases against 33 in the previous week. The positivity rate also falls and is now 0.7 (it was 1.3 percent). The numbers of currently positive are also decreasing, which in the region today are 108 against 159 a week ago. The hospitalization situation is stable: 3 patients remain at the Cardarelli hospital in Campobasso (one of them is in intensive care).
CAMPANIA
There are 163 new cases of contagion registered in Campania in the last 24 hours compared to 5,941 cases registered. This was announced by the crisis unit of the Campania Region. There are 8 deaths of which 7 occurred in the last 48 hours and 1 previously, but recorded yesterday. There are 17 beds occupied in intensive care (656 the total of available); 209 hospital beds occupied (3,160 total available).
BASILICATA
There are 65 positives at Covid in Basilicata out of 919 swabs analyzed between Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 October. On the same days, 68 recovered and one death were recorded in Brienza. 33 people are hospitalized in Lucanian hospitals, one of which is in intensive care. The total positives in Basilicata amounted to 1,205.
PUGLIA
Today in Puglia there are 64 new cases of Covid out of 8,021 daily tests (positivity rate 0.8%) and one death. Of the 2,593 people currently positive in Puglia, 150 are hospitalized in a non-critical area and 16 in intensive care
CALABRIA
The people who tested positive for the coronavirus in Calabria, in the last 24 hours, are 72 more than yesterday. The data is reported in the regional bulletin. In the same period, 2 deaths and 205 recoveries were recorded.
SICILY
183 new cases of Covid19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours on the island compared to 11,738 swabs processed in Sicily. The incidence drops to 1.6% yesterday it was 3.5%. The island falls to third place in the new daily infections, in first place with 244 there is Emilia Romagna and in second with 240 Lazio. The current positives are 13,617 with a decrease of 222 cases. The healed are 399 while there are other 6 victims that bring the total deaths to 6,852. On the hospital front there are now 486 hospitalized, 12 more than yesterday while in intensive care there are 50, the same figure compared to yesterday.

In Sardinia in the last 24 hours there have been 36 new cases of positivity to Covid (+16), based on 986 people tested. A total of 2,947 tests were processed, between molecular and antigenic, for a positive rate of 1.2%. No victims were recorded. There is an increase in patients admitted to intensive care units, 17 (2 more than yesterday), while those admitted to the medical area are 110 (+3); There are 1,838 cases of home isolation (-26).
