Covid in pregnancy, after the daughter the 26-year-old mother also died

When she gave birth to her baby girl she was already in very serious condition, intubated and with the lungs devastated by Covid. The little heart of the daughter, born prematurely after just 24 weeks of gestation, stopped beating twenty days later. At the end of three months of struggle for life, the mother, Antonietta Delli Santi, 26 years old from Montano Antilia, in the province of Salerno, also passed away, not vaccinated, who had contracted the virus a few days before August 15th.
