On the evening of June 23, the official Weibo account of the Cyberspace Administration of the Dandong Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China issued a notice saying that, with the exception of residents in closed and controlled areas, other residents can move around the city in an orderly manner with a 48-hour nucleic acid test negative certificate.
However, according to Mr. Wang, a citizen of Dandong, who told The Epoch Times on June 26, after the lockdown was lifted on the 24th, he heard that some areas in Donggang and Fengcheng were closed again, and restaurants could only order takeaways, not dine-in.
The front desk clerk of a hotel in Zhenxing District, Dandong City also said that although the closure was lifted, their hotel is still closed and is not allowed to open to the public.
The waiter said that the hotel has been receiving train station drivers since April. For fear of cross-contact, it is currently not allowed to receive other people. After the freight driver has left, the hotel can only open to the outside world. This hotel has also been closed-loop management, and the employees have lived in the hotel for more than two months and have not gone out.
Ms. Li, a resident of Zhenxing District, Dandong City, told reporters that at present, high-speed rail and passenger cars are still out of service, and buses are not available. In addition, residents of the revitalization area have to scan the “revitalization code” when going out.
She said that now you need this certificate wherever you go. When you go to shopping malls, pharmacies or public places, you must scan the revitalization code. The personal address and other details are displayed, which is equivalent to the health code of the revitalization area. All people in the revitalization area go out. Everyone has to scan this code, so at present (control) is still quite strict.
On June 17, the government website of Zhenxing District of Dandong City released the “Notice of Zhenxing District on Promoting and Applying the “Revitalization Code” to Implement the Epidemic Prevention and Control Measures for Scanning the Code”, requiring residents in the jurisdiction to register and use the “Revitalization Code”. From now on, residents of the jurisdiction must use the revitalization code applet to scan the code before entering and leaving public places.
In addition, social service and management institutions, commercial and trade venues, service industry venues, public places, public transportation, as well as resident activity venues such as villages and communities, all need to register with the “revitalization code” and obtain the venue code before they can operate. However, the Dandong revitalization code is only used in the revitalization area. Previously, the Dandong area used Liaoning Province’s “Liao Shitong” health code.
