BELLUNO. The Dolomitibus line 31 does not stop, connecting the Auronzo refuge with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. A line designed for the summer and to give an important service to the many tourists who crowd the bus stop in this period to get on this wonder of the Dolomites, a World Heritage Site.
The conclusion of the service had been fixed at the time of its start, set for Sunday 12 September. “These were the predictions we made in the spring because we didn’t yet know how the season would go. Season that is going very well, even better than the pre-Covid years », they let the provincial public transport company know. And so it was decided, after having asked the Province of Belluno for permission, to continue the service until Sunday 3 October, “but we have reserved the right to change this date”, says the company, “in case the number of passengers goes to shrink. Furthermore, from Monday 6 September, the frequency of the races to go up to the Tre Cime will no longer be every half hour, but every hour, therefore with reduced hours ».
But the service will see an intensification of the races on Saturday when an event called ViviVittoria will take place on the most famous Dolomite peaks. For this day, therefore, Dolomitibus, after the OK of Palazzo Piloni, will insert a race at 5.23 to allow the organizers of the event that will attract many people from all over Italy, to arrange everything for the day. For the occasion, the company is organizing, in case of need, a doubling of the races to give an answer to the people who will climb the Tre Cime. pda
