In this regard, PDMA Punjab says that the risk of drought is increasing due to lack of winter rains. After December, January is also close to passing without rain and snowfall. In such a case, if seen in the context of climate change, it is not absolutely correct because problems arise due to lack of rains.
According to the report of the Meteorological Department, the lowest temperature in the country was recorded in Skardu where the temperature was minus 11 degrees Celsius. Kalam minus 7, Gilgit and Astor minus 6, Chitral, Hunza, Rawalakot, Quetta minus 3, Chakwal minus 2, Islamabad 2, Peshawar and Bannu recorded 3 degrees Celsius.
