The situation of confusion and degradation linked to the nightlife in the center has improved a little, but not enough to revoke the early closure of the bars between via XXXI Ottobre, via Marco, via Monte Cauriol and the underpass of piazzale della Lana, which is being extended . After the confrontation between the administration and the local police, the new ordinance is being finalized, with the opening hours remaining for the premises in that area of ​​the city center until midnight on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday is Sunday; at one in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays. The persistence of reports of behaviors still out of line – naturally considering the responsibility of individuals, not attributable to the opening hours of the premises – led the administration to decide to confirm the anti-noise provision.

It entered into force for the first time between the end of July and the end of August following a complaint presented to the Prefecture by some residents, then adopted again in September until the first days of October, it will be extended for another period, because the Municipality and the of the order have not seen sufficient setbacks. Until the order will say that will be published shortly.

“Confronted with the indications coming from the command of the local police and from the feedback with the residents, we believe that there are no conditions to return to the full timetable,” says the councilor for commerce Irma Visalli. He adds: «The reports continue to arrive, although not to the same extent as before. The total results have not been achieved, but it is certainly better than when the time is free. While recognizing an improvement, everything has not been resolved, so in the meantime let’s continue like this and then we will reassess the situation ».

A signal, the one contained in the ordinance that is extended, addressed both to the exhibitors and to the patrons with the appeal to behave attentively and responsibly, in compliance with civil coexistence. The content of the provision remains the same and concerns the supervision of behavior prejudicial to public peace, disturbance of occupations and people’s rest, loud music and noises. Complaints from the neighborhood also refer to acts of vandalism and the hygiene of the places.
