Today, development and operations teams face increasing challenges when it comes to implementing and seamlessly operating hybrid cloud environments. A series of workshops from Red Hat and Microsoft offer you the opportunity to deploy hybrid platforms for your teams and workloads with Red Hat OpenShift – with a focus on managed OpenShift.

During the workshop you will be guided through a range of content that will help you implement and configure OpenShift in hybrid environments. Special emphasis is placed on sharing new ideas and advice on developing hybrid cloud capabilities with Red Hat and partners. Experts such as Philipp Bergsmann (Senior Black Belt Managed OpenShift at Red Hat), Wolfgang Marx (Senior Cloud Solution Architect at Red Hat) and Christian Pino (Azure Cloud Solution Architect Customer Success Unit at Microsoft) will share insights and practical advice during the workshop.

The following topics are covered:

Deploy Red Hat OpenShift clusters in hybrid environmentsPerform Day 2 operations such as configuring node and cluster scaling policies, managed upgrades, and leveraging labels for deterministic application placementScaling applications on OpenShift and protecting against worker node failuresDeploy an application on several OpenShift clusters via ACM (Advanced Cluster Management) Cluster management with ACM (Compliance & Security) Conception and creation of hybrid cloud models including failover and East-West communication
