Note: The applicant’s driver’s license should be within the validity period. If the driver’s license has been detained, temporarily detained, failed to undergo a physical examination after the expiry date, not examined after the expiration date, or announced to stop using it, it will not be possible to apply for an electronic driver’s license.
When applying for an electronic driver’s license for the first time, the “Transportation 12123” App will automatically retrieve the applicant’s saved photo as an electronic driver’s license photo. After the electronic driver’s license is generated, you can voluntarily choose whether to change the photo.
For those without photos, the “Transportation 12123” App will prompt the applicant to submit an electronic photo by taking a photo with a mobile phone or choosing a photo album.
