Health services.
The popular action lawsuit was presented before the Contentious Administrative Court of Bogotá by the legal director of the Ministry, Rodolfo Enrique Salas, who based the action on a report from the Superintendency of Health that revealed the non-compliance with technical reserves by the EPS during the year 2023, using information provided by the companies themselves .
According to the Ministry of Health, technical reserves are essential assets that provide security and liquidity to insurers., allowing them to pay their network of providers.
