“Academician Inspection Team Visits Jiangmen to Evaluate Ecological Construction”
The “Green Beauty Guangdong” academician science and technology guidance inspection activity recently made its way to Jiangmen, where experts and scholars conducted on-site inspections of the city’s ecological construction efforts. Led by academician Cao Fuliang and academician Liu Shirong, the team visited various locations including Guifengshan Forest Park and Xinhui Bird Paradise National Wetland Park to assess the effectiveness of forest quality improvement.
During the inspection, the team participated in tree planting activities and learned about the protection and management of the forest parks. They also visited Chenpi Village Market Co., Ltd. to understand the development of the local Chenpi industry and the importance of wetland protection. The inspection team commended Jiangmen’s efforts in promoting ecological construction and encouraged the city to continue its green development initiatives.
Mayor Wu Xiaohui expressed her gratitude for the inspection team’s visit and highlighted Jiangmen’s commitment to implementing Xi Jinping’s thoughts on ecological civilization. She emphasized the importance of integrating green development concepts into the city’s planning and design efforts to create a beautiful environment for its residents.
Moving forward, Jiangmen aims to further enhance its ecological construction efforts by promoting afforestation and developing the underforest economy. By leveraging its ecological advantages, the city hopes to establish a model for high-quality economic development and environmental protection.
