The Government of Cesar opened a call for civil society organizations and associations in the department to apply for shortlists to renew the Territorial Planning Council for the strengthening and construction of the 2024-2027 Development Plan.
Through Call 000001, Governor Elvia Milena Sanjuán, invited civil organizations from the indigenous, culture, Afro community, education, community, cooperative sectors and the mayors of the municipalities of the northwestern subregion and the southern subregion, to send the respective shortlists to integrate said mechanism, with the purpose of renewing part of this planning instance, due to the expiration of the period for which they were elected.
In addition, there are vacancies for representatives of the commerce, researcher, church and economic sectors.
According to the schedule, the presentation of the shortlists began this January 25, from the opening of the call, until February 9, 2024; Next, the verification of the candidates’ requirements will be carried out, from February 12 to 13, to proceed with the appointment of the new directors by Departmental Decree from February 14 to 15, 2024.
Organizations and associations interested in applying must present the following documents for each shortlist candidate: resume of the candidates, application letter indicating the sector for which the shortlist is being presented, as well as experience and/or or connection thereof in each sector, certification of the existence and legal representation issued by the competent authority, not exceeding 90 days of issuance.
Likewise, a copy of the minutes of the meeting in which the application was made, a document explaining the representativeness of the applicant institution or institutions, providing sufficient data on the identity, address and telephone number of both the applicants and the applicant organizations, letter of acceptance of the application by the candidates.
