Ivrea, The great invasion: 8 exhibitions inspired by the world of the word

The exhibitions that will take place in the city as collateral events of the review are all linked and inspired by writing

IVREA. Great invasion has also been synonymous with art exhibitions for years. Exhibitions by famous artists that have expanded to the event that continued at the Garda Museum beyond the end of the event and others, never inferior in quality, by lesser-known artists who have embellished the reading festival with their works. In this 2022 edition, there are eight exhibitions hosted by The Great Invasion, all by artists in some way linked to publishing and the written word. I’m: Pax Palosciain Santa Marta; Elisa Talentinoa Mama b; Guido Scarabottoloto Spritz; Rich Linenin the courtyard of the Garda Museum; Dario Panzieri e Matthew Continat the Book Gallery; Donkeys are bornallo Zac!; EditaBWvintageallo Spritz; Under Pressure, from Graphic Fighters. The inauguration of the exhibitions will be one of the opening moments of the festival on Thursday 2, at 7pm, in the courtyard of the Garda Museum. Still on the subject of art, it was created by Joey Guidone, an artist who in the 2020 edition exhibited the manifesto of the Great Invasion 2022 at the Garda Museum. Guidone has created three versions in as many different colors, one for each phase of the day: red for the morning, green for afternoon activities, blue for the evening program. The posters, like the rest of the official merchandising of the festival, will be available from Spritz and at the festival container in piazza Ottinetti.
