Last year, the most children in the country were born in the Mönchengladbach municipal clinics. No other hospital matched the number of births in the clinic – once again.
First place for the eighth time in nine years
There were exactly 3,290 births in 2023. Close behind is the Florence Nightingale Hospital in Düsseldorf-Kaiserswerth. The Gladbach clinic was able to defend its leading position nationwide. And this is the eighth time in nine years.
A hospital spokesman described the result as recognition for the entire team, who do first-class work around the clock, day after day. Nationwide, the Gladbach Clinic came in sixth place among the clinics with the most births.
