In Neiva, the death of a motorcyclist identified as Wilson Amín Amézquita Garrido, 35 years old, was recorded early last Sunday.
The events took place around at 03:30 in the morning in the vicinity of Avenida 26 and Calle 49 in the Las Granjas neighborhood, north of Neiva.
According to preliminary reports, Amézquita Garrido was traveling to aboard a motorcycle with license plate BPN-59F when, for reasons still unknown, it lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the road.
The impact was so strong that it left the man seriously injured. ANDEmergency teams arrived at the scene and transferred Amézquita Garrido to the Emcosalud clinic. in a desperate attempt to save his life. However, despite the efforts of the medical staff, he sadly passed away minutes after entering the care facility.

The news has generated commotion in the Neiva community, where friends, family and neighbors mourn the loss of Amézquita Garrido, remembering him as a loved and respected person. Likewise, they remind the community that after 11:00 at night and until 5:00 in the morning, the use of motorcycles is prohibited in the city.
