In the afternoon, the Palestinian communities of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto gave life to the “Procession for Peace in Palestine” which marched along the streets of the center of Pordenone.
During the procession, the demonstrators gathered in Piazza Risorgimento, and, in front of a crowd of around two hundred people, a rally was held by some activists who launched appeals for a ceasefire in Palestine.
The event took place without tension: among others, many families with children were present. The procession was opened by the banner “Stop the genocide”. The regional councilor of Open Fvg, Furio Honsell, also participated in the event.
