Leaders of the People’s Force (FP) in Pennsylvania have officially joined the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) in a swearing-in ceremony. Gerson Ferrer, former president of the FP in Philadelphia and political delegate of the party to the JCE, along with Diógenes Rodríguez, president of the FP in Allentown, and Alfonso Roque were among those who made the switch.

In a statement, Ferrer expressed his commitment to supporting the PRM moving forward. The event, which took place at Yesua Centro de Milagros, was organized by the Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Pennsylvania, Alexis Antonio Henríquez.

During the ceremony, Ferrer emphasized the importance of uniting behind the PRM and specifically supporting the presidential candidacy of Luis Abinader in the upcoming May elections. Nelson Filpo, president of the PRM in Pennsylvania, Yadira Henríquez, Andrés Bautista, and Faride Raful also spoke at the event.

The leaders’ decision to join forces with the PRM signals a significant shift in the political landscape in Pennsylvania and may have implications for the upcoming elections.
