Sassari, the shopping cart is one of the most expensive in Italy

The Altroconsumo investigation: the city is among the 5 most expensive. In Cagliari better prices, but not too much

SASSARI. Are you one of those willing to go around all the supermarkets in search of the cheapest shopping and the most convenient offers? Well, don’t do it in Sassari because you would only risk wasting time: the investigation into the convenience of the signs in Italy carried out by the consumer protection association Altroconsumo established that Sassari is among the Italian cities where the “range” of price differences (obviously on the products examined) is the minor.

Our city is together with Potenza, Pesaro, Pistoia, Reggio Calabria and Foggia in the lower range: the savings obtained by choosing the cheapest supermarket is equal to 2 percent, which translated into pennies means 100 euros per year. For Sassari, the calculated sum is exactly 131 euros. Things are better, but without exaggerating, in Cagliari where the savings are 6 percent which corresponds to 474 euros a year. It is already something, but not much compared to the first in the standings which is Rovigo with a saving of 23 percent.
