Among them, the “Winter Olympic Branch Line” tailored for the Winter Olympics is the first smart rail transit demonstration line in China that integrates smart scheduling, smart operation and maintenance, smart vehicles, and cloud platforms. It runs from Jin’anqiao Station to Xinshougang Station and goes directly to Shougang Ski Jumping Platform, with a total length of 4.2 kilometers. “Integrated big screen” integrates the entry and exit situation, site construction, and live broadcast of the Winter Olympics. “Integrated Entry” allows frequent travelers without bags to pass through the entry gates without having to go through security checks, and to monitor body temperature, health code, and payment code at the same time. In-vehicle video shooting and transmission back to the smart box, large-bandwidth and stable transmission of signals between the vehicle and the command center, etc., realize the in-depth convenience and intelligence of Beijing rail transit.

By the end of 2021, the entire Beijing rail transit network has 27 lines with an operating mileage of 783 kilometers, achieving 100% rail transit coverage of all Beijing Winter Olympic venues.
