Days of preliminary hard work for the rapporteurs of the simplification decree Roberto Morassut (Pd) and Annagrazia Calabria (Forza Italia), for the majority group leaders of the Constitutional Affairs and Environment commissions of the Chamber, for the technicians of the most committed ministries (in the front row Function public, Mite and Infrastructures), for the Undersecretary for Relations with Parliament, Deborah Bergamini, who will bring the synthesis of the government into the work of the commission. The Minister of the Civil Service, Renato Brunetta, the main protagonist of the decree, explained at the inauguration of the Luiss Master in Politics that a control room will be set up at Palazzo Chigi to address parliamentary discussion.
The weekend and Monday were spent studying the 600 amendments (which become 900 if we consider the photocopy amendments submitted by various groups) to understand whether to give a positive or negative opinion to each. The vastness of the decree and the issues addressed requires enormous work that should find a first point of comparison with a long majority meeting on the proposals divided by blocks. Let’s see some amendments that are already being discussed.

110% also for tourism, businesses and professionals
The extension of the Superbonus to 2023, to categories of subjects, types of systems, activities and buildings not included today in the maxi-relief will be one of the key topics of the examination of the decree and the script seems to have already been written: on the one hand, all the compact political groups to ask for extensions and the government tends to slow down, especially where extensions and extensions have a cost. On some aspects, however, parliamentary compactness is truly impressive: for example, the desire to extend 110% to the tourism sector and hotel activities. More generally, there is a broad consensus on the extension to businesses, professional activities, cooperatives and the third sector. The 110% enlargement variables proposed are hundreds. It will be interesting to see which line, more or less open-minded, the government will stand on right from the start.
