The flames leaping from the stubble burned in the İmamoğlu district of Adana, leaped into the forest with the effect of the wind. With the intensive intervention of the teams, the fire was brought under control in 2 hours.

The fire broke out in the forest in the district of Musulu in the evening hours. Allegedly, in the stubble fire, which was burned for the wheat stalks in the field, the flames spread to the forest with the effect of the wind.

TAKEN UNDER CONTROL IN 2 HOURS

Upon the notification of the residents of the neighborhood, teams affiliated to the Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region. Crews are responding to the fire with construction equipment and sprinklers.

It was reported that the strong winds in the region made it difficult for the teams to work. With the intense efforts of forest workers, the fire was brought under control in 2 hours. While cooling works are continuing in the region, an investigation into the fire has also been started.

On the other hand, the cooling work of the teams continues in the forest fire that started in the afternoon and was brought under control in the central Sarıçam district. (DHA)
