Insulted and attacked in broad daylight in the center of Turin because he is gay. This is the case reported by Arcigay, whose victim was a 24-year-old student, originally from Pavia, who filed a complaint with the “Po Vanchiglia” Carabinieri barracks in the Piedmontese capital.

The young man said he was mocked for his clothing and insulted with homophobic terms in via delle Rosine, in the center, by a man and a woman. The discussion, partly taken up by the cell phone of the 24-year-old friend, would soon degenerate. The young man, however, would have decided to let it go and to continue on his path but, according to the reconstruction made by Arcigay, on the road the attacker would have stood in front of him who would have again insulted him, ordering him to leave.
In response, the student from Pavia would have mimicked the gesture of spitting and at that point the attacker would have removed his belt from his trousers to beat him. The boy, frightened, would have defended himself using the pepper spray, eventually managing to escape.
