The autopsy confirms the suicide, but the investigation continues

The prosecutor: “No twist has emerged on the death of Enzo Minisini.” Investigations underway on the statements of the woman who was shot three times

COLLOREDO. No surprise from the autopsy performed on Monday evening on the body of Enzo Minisini, the 75-year-old pensioner found dead a week ago in the Caporiacco countryside. The investigation, carried out by the coroner Antonello Cirnelli and lasted a couple of hours, did not reveal any elements that could change the investigative framework.

That is, that the same victim was fired: first, three gunshots exploding against Firewoin Zemichael Gebresilasse, 43, originally from Ethiopia and resident in San Vito al Tagliamento, wounded, but without injury to vital organs, then, turning the weapon against himself and ending it.

An attempted murder, followed by suicide, then. The confirmation comes from the Prosecutor’s Office, to which the consultant – the same who had carried out the first inspection – filed a first report yesterday.

“The investigations are proceeding, to reconstruct the dynamics in detail and leave nothing unexplored”, said the prosecutor Massimo Lia, excluding “twists and turns” and, therefore, also the responsibility of third parties in the death of Minisini and reiterating, for the rest, what has already emerged from the investigations.

In the file opened by the prosecutor Lucia Terzariol, who yesterday issued the clearance for the burial of Minisini, the hypothesis of kidnapping is also contested. And this is precisely one of the aspects that the carabinieri are verifying, after the statements made by the woman when she was still in hospital.

According to friends and acquaintances, Minisini and Gebresilasse had known each other for years and, in recent times, they have seen each other more frequently. They were just friends. But perhaps he had different ideas and intentions. And for this reason, on the evening between 15 and 16 March, he had blocked her in the car for hours under the threat of a pistol, a Beretta 7.65.
