Barça Academy, in collaboration with FC Barcelona, has communicated an important update regarding the date of the next camp in Ecuador.

The international scouting contest continues in execution

After a thorough analysis and in coordination with FC Barcelona, it has been decided to reschedule the event with the main objective of safeguarding the safety of the children and collaborators involved. The new date established for the program will be July 15 to 19, and the chosen location will be the Cuenca Sports Complex.

Diego Sarrade, Director of EI2 and Official Partner of Barça Academy Ecuador, has offered details about this decision, highlighting that the only reason behind the change of date is to guarantee the well-being of all participants. Likewise, he emphasized that this adjustment will not have any impact on the programming or quality of the camp, ensuring that the experience will continue to be enriching and aligned with FC Barcelona standards. The resumption of registration is scheduled for next Monday, January 29, offering those interested the opportunity to ensure their participation in this exciting camp.

This event, which is part of the Barça Academy mission, has as its main objective to replicate and establish the renowned playing model of the Spanish team. This will be achieved through training provided by official trainers, who will also be responsible for instilling fundamental values in the comprehensive training of athletes. In addition to the camp in Cuenca, Barça Academy has confirmed the dates for events in other cities in Ecuador. Quito will host its camp from July 8 to 12, while Guayaquil will have its turn from September 16 to 20. These dates remain unchanged and will continue to offer exciting opportunities for young talent from across the country.
