Changzhou City Delegates Continue Review at Provincial People’s Congress

On January 24, at the second session of the 14th Provincial People’s Congress, the Changzhou City delegation continued their comprehensive review of several important items. This included the provincial government work report, plans, budget reports, and related drafts. They also focused on the “Jiangsu Province Formulation and Approval of Local Regulations and Regulations” (Amendment Draft) and the “Jiangsu Province Food Safety Regulations (Draft)”.

Key figures from the municipal government, including Municipal Party Committee Secretary Chen Jinhu, Mayor Sheng Lei, and Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee Director Bai Yunping, were in attendance for the review.

During the session, various representatives shared their thoughts and suggestions regarding the government’s work report. Bai Yunping commended the report for demonstrating the drive, tenacity, and enterprising spirit of Jiangsu’s development. He emphasized the positive impact of the report on people, reforms, and innovation.

Representative Wang Weiming expressed confidence in the government’s integration of culture, business, and tourism for the revitalization and development of Laochengxiang. He highlighted the commitment of Jinling Investment Group to promoting the high-quality integrated development of culture, business, and tourism in Changzhou.

Pan Hongbo focused on the government’s deployment of industrial development and technological innovation, emphasizing the importance of private enterprises actively integrating into the global innovation system and expanding diversified industries.

Qiao Sen stressed the need to further consolidate the mechanism for cultivating, using, motivating, and guaranteeing all-skilled talents to stimulate enterprises’ initiative in cultivating skilled talents.

Hua Fei’s representatives highlighted the outstanding results of the government work report and suggested optimizing the layout of the Municipal First Hospital to provide better medical and health services.

Mei Jianfen emphasized the importance of improving the collaborative education mechanism and building a training system for top innovative talents.
