Yangtze River Delta Enhances Cross-Provincial Government Services for Businesses and Residents

The integration of the Yangtze River Delta has brought about significant improvements in cross-provincial government services for businesses and residents. The region has opened 173 inter-provincial service applications, with more than 7 million items processed online so far, showcasing the effectiveness of the “one-stop service” approach.

One key example of this seamless service is the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street in Shanghai, where the Huangpu District Government Service Center has established a Yangtze River Delta business service area. Through the “remote virtual window” mode, specialists are assisting companies in handling business matters across different provinces, such as connecting with a company in Gusu District, Suzhou City.

Xu Zhe, director of the Huangpu District Government Service Center, highlighted the convenience of the “one-stop service” in the Yangtze River Delta, stating that companies can now open branches or conduct business in other places without leaving Shanghai. This cross-provincial network aims to enhance efficiency and provide a smoother experience for businesses operating in the region.

Tim (Shanghai) Catering Management Co., Ltd. shared their positive experience with the “one-stop service” in the Yangtze River Delta. By utilizing the government affairs windows of different provinces, the company has successfully opened over 900 stores nationwide, including several in the Yangtze River Delta region.

In addition to convenience, the Yangtze River Delta’s “one-stop service” is supported by standardized systems that ensure data sharing and exchange across the region. Electronic licenses for various services are now recognized in 40 types of scenarios, allowing individuals to access government services without the need for physical documents.
