Between Friday night and early Saturday morning, personnel from the Vice Ministry of Transportation (VMT), with the support of the National Civil Police (PNC), carried out several vehicle controls, in which they detained 9 drivers who were traveling to their destinations. with more than 100º of alcohol, according to the anti-doping test.
“Between last night and early today, we removed 9 dangerous drivers from circulation in anti-doping control devices,” the VMT reported in X. “Today we will continue to be deployed nationwide to guarantee safe mobility,” he warned.
So far this year alone, 1,524 anti-doping tests have already been carried out, of which 101 have resulted in more than 100º of alcohol, for which the drivers have been arrested.
