Top hospitality with a view of the Olympics: the Venetian replica at the exclusive San Luis

First details on the project (still only on paper) of the Meister family that has already made a name for itself on the market near Merano

CORTINA. State-of-the-art tourist accommodation with a view of the 2026 Olympics. The proposal made by the Meister family of Merano revolves around the construction of a chalet village, with first-rate services but all with a low environmental impact (at least in intention). Two villages to be precise, one designed for Cortina and one for Auronzo, with a substantial difference: that of Cortina will be dedicated to tourism for couples, with services concentrated around the well-being of the person. The one in Auronzo will instead be more “family-friendly” with space and attention reserved especially for the little ones. Cortina is already in the public domain: in the intentions of the Meisters it should be built in Col Tondo but, according to what Alex Meister revealed, “it will not be called Borgo Col Tondo as it has emerged in recent days”. Auronzo’s, on the other hand, came to light, almost by chance, only in the last few hours despite a complex behind-the-scenes work that has been going on for two years. The project is concentrated in the area that from Federavecchia “climbs” towards Col de Colauto, between Auronzo and Misurina. Here the Meister family, in the summer of 2019, bought the former Cristallo hotel, which had been abandoned for some time, which from the point of view of the chalet village will act as headquarters around which to build a series of houses, all strictly in wood, some of the which are housed directly on the trees, and equipped with every comfort.

“For Auronzo, the wooden houses, each equivalent to a room, will be 41 for a total of 142 beds”, explained Alex Meister, “as regards Cortina, there will be 40 rooms for a total of one hundred beds”.

The two villages, for which the approval of the respective municipal administrations, which is decisive for starting the works, however, faithfully follows what has already been signed by the Meister family in the vicinity of their native Merano, in Avelengo to be precise, where the San Luis chalet village stands. , alternative 5-star hotel, characterized by the presence of single housing units, united by the futuristic concept of hospitality which is currently still non-existent in Veneto (despite the law allowing its regular construction for some time).

The San Luis offer, which has been successful in light of the record attendance recorded so far, consists in the hospitality of customers in a real single home equipped with every comfort including an independent spa, for the exclusive use of each guest. The San Luis di Avelengo extends over an area of forty hectares within which a jogging path has also been created. Meals, including breakfast, can be consumed in a common area used as a restaurant or directly in the room. –
