After 5 days, the entity managed to restore virtual services

In response to the request of the Superintendence of Health, Total Health, the entity in charge of the health of more than 4.8 million people, reported through its social networks that “thanks to the contingency plan and the immediate diligence” of the health team technology, “the company overcame the external computer attack.”

In the published statement, Total Health assured that, thanks to the measures implemented for five days, it was possible to guarantee attention to users and the continuity of services. Likewise, Salud Total EPS highlighted that, so far, no theft of information has been recorded, either of the data of the affiliates or of the company itself.

“Salud Total EPS-S rejects and condemns this type of external computer attacks against the company and other actors in the health system,” the EPS refuted in the statement.

Additionally, Total Health confirmed the restoration of virtual services that were out of operation during the incident. Starting this Saturday, February 3, members can once again use:

The Virtual Office, The Point of Care At Home The Pablo Mobile Application, the Virtual Advisor, to carry out procedures and request medical appointments without having to go to a physical point.

With this announcement, Total Health members regain peace of mind and hope that the service will be fully restored, returning to the normality that characterized its operation until January 26.
