Pakistan’s Federal Interior and Narcotics Control Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said on Tuesday that the ‘terrorists’ will be answered in their own language and whoever attacks Pakistan will be dealt with in the same way.

Mohsin Naqvi, while talking to the media on Tuesday after examining the papers in connection with the Senate elections in the Provincial Election Commission, said that ‘Pakistan’s sovereignty will not be compromised’.

According to APP, the Federal Interior Minister said that there will be no compromise on terrorism and those who plan against Pakistan will be answered in their own language.

He said that all those who are staying illegally in Pakistan will have to leave here. ‘Get a visa and come back to Pakistan if you want.’

The Federal Interior Minister said that at present the country is facing challenges due to the wave of militancy.

We will fight terrorism, God willing. However, it is wrong to accuse someone wrongly.’

On Saturday, March 16, in Tehsil Mir Ali of North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to Pakistani authorities, “several soldiers including two senior officers were killed as a result of armed attacks by terrorists.”

After these attacks, according to the Foreign Office in Islamabad, “On Monday morning, Pakistan conducted an operation against terrorists in the border areas inside Afghanistan based on secret information.”

Pakistan’s foreign office had said that ‘the target of the operation was terrorists belonging to the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, which is responsible for several terrorist attacks in Pakistan along with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Hundreds of civilians and law enforcement officials lost their lives as a result of these attacks.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi believes that social media is currently being misused in Pakistan, but he has opposed the ban on freedom of expression.

Mohsin Naqvi said that those who are using social media in a wrong and negative manner will have to be looked at.

He further said that campaigns are being conducted on social media against the forces and the judiciary.

He further said that social media laws are enforced all over the world, the recent example of which is the banning of Tik Tok in the United States.

In this regard, he said that he indicated to bring reforms in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Earlier, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reached the office of the Provincial Election Commission where the Returning Officer Ijaz Anwar Chauhan checked his nomination papers.

The federal minister is participating in the Senate elections as an independent. His supporters including Khawaja Imran Nazir of Muslim League-N, Haider Gilani of People’s Party, Shafi Hussain of Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam and Ghazanfar Chheena of the Stability Pakistan Party were also present on the occasion.
