Zhong Yuan: The CCP’s Propaganda Meetings Are Outrageous (Part 1) | Biden | Xi Jinping

by admin

After the video meeting between Biden and Xi Jinping on November 16, the Chinese Communist Party media appeared very excited and carried out a series of propaganda; but after comparing the facts one by one, you will find how outrageous the CCP’s propaganda is.

Xinhua News Agency’s statement replaced Biden’s statement

After the video meeting with Xi, the Chinese Communist Party media Xinhua News Agency issued a statement, “Xi Jinping Holds a Video Meeting with US President Biden.” The CCP’s long statement is nearly 4,000 words and contains 22 paragraphs, while the White House statement has only more than 400 words and 4 paragraphs. This seems to indicate that the CCP is ready to make a big fuss about this meeting.

Among the 22-paragraphs of the CCP’s statement, Xi Jinping’s statements accounted for 17 paragraphs, and Biden’s statement was only one paragraph, and it was mainly Xinhua News Agency that replaced Biden’s statement, almost completely omitting the content of the White House statement.

1. Sino-US cooperation or “competition”

The Chinese Communist Party stated:
Biden said: I agree with what President Xi Jinping said…US-China relations can only be done well, not messed up.

Fact check:
The White House statement said that Biden emphasized the “complexity of the relationship between the two countries and the importance of responsibly managing competition”, “covering areas where we have the same interests as well as areas where our interests, values, and opinions differ.” The United States will continue to defend its own interests and values.”

Biden did not agree with Xi Jinping’s “cooperation and win-win”, but emphasized “competition” with the CCP in order to “continue to defend our own interests and values.” Therefore, there is no concept of a “good” relationship between the United States and China.

Today’s US-China relationship has been “smashed” by the CCP, and if it deteriorates further, it may become a conflict. Biden proposed “competition” and at the same time avoiding “conflict”. Therefore, he hopes to strengthen communication to “manage competition.”

The CCP deliberately replaced Biden in stating that “U.S.-China relations can only be done well”, that is, agreeing with Xi Jinping’s “cooperation”, which is contrary to the facts and is fabricated by the CCP itself.

2. Is the strengthening of cooperation between the U.S. and its allies aimed at the CCP?

The Chinese Communist Party stated:
Biden said: The United States does not seek to strengthen alliance relations against China (the CCP).

Fact check:
The White House statement said, “We form alliances with foreign allies and partners to meet the challenges of the times.”

The United States has regarded the CCP as the biggest external challenge, and has made it clear that it will strengthen cooperation with allies to meet the challenge. The four-nation mechanism of the United States, Japan, Australia, and India, the AUKUS military alliance, the G7+4 summit, the U.S.-Europe summit, and the NATO summit are all measures to address the challenges of the CCP. However, the CCP claimed that Biden’s statement was not directed against the CCP.

After the meeting, Xie Feng, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China, explained that “Chairman Xi Jinping pointed out during the meeting that ideological demarcation, camp division, group confrontation…” It can be seen that the CCP knows that these alliances are aimed at the CCP, and the CCP has always called the United States. Engaging in a “small circle” against the CCP is actually quite jealous of the cooperation between the United States and its many allies. Today, the CCP has stated for Biden that the Western Alliance does not target the CCP, which is self-deception.

3. Statements on the Taiwan issue

The Chinese Communist Party stated:
Biden said: The US government is committed to pursuing the long-term consistent one-China policy and does not support “Taiwan independence” and hopes that the Taiwan Strait will maintain peace and stability.

Fact check:
The White House stated that it “strongly opposes unilateral changes” to the status quo in the Taiwan Strait. This sentence actually opposes the CCP’s attempt to “unify by force” and does not believe that the CCP can represent Taiwan. The CCP has always confused its so-called “One China Principle”, which is actually different from the concept of the “One China Policy” of the United States.

The concept of “Taiwan independence” referred to by the CCP is also different from the concept understood by the United States. On November 17, Biden further clarified, “We will not change our (Taiwan) policy at all”; “They must decide—’they’—Taiwan, not us. And we are not encouraging (Taiwan) ) Independence, we are encouraging them to do exactly as required by the “Taiwan Law””, “This is what we are doing. Let them decide their own ideas”, “She (referring to Taiwan) is independent. She does Make your own decision.”

On behalf of Biden, the CCP said that it does not support “Taiwan independence,” and secretly replaced it with the CCP’s own concept, trying to find an excuse or basis for the constant provocation in the Taiwan Strait. On November 17, Xinhua News Agency also reported “The Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China: The situation regarding Taiwan-related content of the first video meeting between China and the United States is very clear”, stating that “the U.S. does not support’Taiwan independence’ is a stance that the U.S. government has repeatedly reiterated for a long time.” “A warning to the DPP authorities and the’Taiwan independence’ forces…”

The Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China went further, equating Taiwan’s democratically elected government with “Taiwan independence,” and continued to express views on behalf of Biden to confuse people. Members of the United States Congress have just visited Taiwan, and the United States may also invite Taiwan to participate in the upcoming World Democracy Summit. The CCP expressed its stance on Biden’s behalf, but it was far from reality.

4. China-US cooperation to “jointly respond to the new crown pneumonia”?

The Chinese Communist Party stated:
Biden said: The United States is willing to work with China…in areas where the interests of the United States and China are the same, and jointly respond to global challenges such as the new crown pneumonia and climate change.

Fact check:
The White House statement only mentioned the possible cooperation between the two sides in the climate crisis, and did not mention “jointly responding to the new crown pneumonia.”

The CCP has repeatedly proposed to cooperate with the United States and various Western countries to respond to the epidemic. It also hoped that the United States and the West would share vaccine technology, but no one has responded so far.

The CCP has always refused to cooperate with virus traceability investigations, nor does it admit to concealing the epidemic, and it continues to dump the United States. In the latest report of the US Intelligence Agency, it is difficult to draw an accurate conclusion on the source of the virus due to the inability to obtain strong first-hand evidence. The U.S. government has repeatedly asked the CCP to cooperate in investigations, accusing the CCP of opaque sharing of information on the epidemic, and the CCP has denied it all. The two sides seriously lack the basis for cooperation to fight the epidemic. Biden has not formally asked the CCP to conceal the epidemic, but he has never said that he will cooperate with the CCP to fight the epidemic.

The CCP’s intention to express its stance on Biden’s behalf should try to erase the crime of concealing the epidemic and deliberately spreading the virus. It also tried to publicize that even the United States has recognized it, and other countries should stop looking to blame.

This is worthy of serious consideration by the US government. The US may also be aware of the CCP’s propaganda tactics. However, the US has died of more than 780,000 people due to the epidemic and its economy has been severely damaged. Is the US government really prepared to admit it? The CCP is actually mocking the weakness of the US government.

5. Was the meeting substantive and fruitful?

The Chinese Communist Party stated:
The capitals of the two countries believe that the meeting was frank, constructive, substantive and fruitful… The two sides agreed to continue to maintain close contact through various means to push Sino-US relations back on the right track of healthy and stable development.

Fact check:
The White House statement concluded by stating that Biden emphasized the “importance of substantive and concrete dialogue.”

Xi Jinping finished reading the nearly 4,000-word manuscript during the meeting. After listening to the political language of the party culture, Biden certainly felt that it lacked “substantiality.” Anyone who listened to this type of CCP report should have the same feeling. . The video meeting between Biden and Xi Jinping lasted nearly 4 hours. It is estimated that most of the time was spent on this kind of speech and translation without substantive content, so there were basically no concrete results. US officials also stated that they do not expect any concrete results.

The CCP ignores a series of huge differences between the two sides on issues such as compliance with international rules, Indo-Pacific freedom, economy and trade, human rights, and Taiwan. Regardless of the lack of concrete results, the CCP said that the two sides believed that the talks were “substantial and fruitful.” This move by the CCP should try to conceal the embarrassment of diplomatic isolation, falsely publicizing the results of the Sino-US talks, and even diplomatic victory, in order to enhance Xi Jinping’s merits.

Biden has repeatedly reiterated “responsible management of competition”, which clearly shows that Sino-US relations cannot go back to the past; but the CCP is still falsely claiming that “the two sides agree…to push Sino-US relations back on the right track of healthy and stable development.” The CCP keeps talking about itself. It shouldn’t be that it doesn’t know the status quo of Sino-U.S. relations and the attitude of the United States. Rather, it continues to deceive CCP officials and Chinese people.

Xie Feng, Vice Foreign Minister of the Communist Party of China, subsequently interpreted that, “If Sino-US relations cannot be returned to the past, they should face the future. The Chinese side has no illusions…”

The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China broke the truth by himself.

The visit meeting interpreted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China

Xinhua News Agency subsequently issued the “China-U.S. Heads of State Meeting Pointing Out the Direction and Injecting Impetus into the Development of Relations between the Two Countries-The Full Text of Q&A with the Media Interviewed by Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng” (hereinafter referred to as the “Interview Q&A”), which is equivalent to a far-fetched visit to the Xixi meeting. Interpretation.

1. What counts as the true consensus of both parties

“Interview Questions and Answers” stated:
The main content of this meeting can be summarized as “3421”: President Xi Jinping put forward the “three-point principle” and “four priorities” on the development of Sino-US relations, and the leaders of the two countries reached a “two-principle consensus.”

Fact check:
The reporter asked, “Can you tell me more about the main content of the talks, and have the two heads of state reached some consensus?”

The reply of Xie Feng, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China, was actually a summary of Xi Jinping’s speech, which was equivalent to the CCP’s side of the talks during the talks, completely ignoring the content of Biden’s speech, but was described by the CCP as “the main content of the talks.”

The so-called “three-point principle”, that is, “mutual respect,” “peaceful coexistence,” and “cooperation and win-win”, are the consistent rhetoric of the Chinese Communist Party and they are not new. The so-called “four priorities”, namely, “lead the international community to cooperate to meet outstanding challenges”, “enlarge the “cake” of cooperation”, “manage differences and sensitive issues, and prevent Sino-US relations from being derailed and out of control”, and “strengthening in Coordination and cooperation on major international and regional hotspot issues”.

These are mainly the unilateral wishes of the CCP, which is what the CCP calls “returning to the right track of healthy and stable development.” Regardless of Biden’s reiteration of the “competitive” relationship between China and the United States, the CCP tried to unilaterally interpret the main content of the talks.

The “consensus of two principles” interpreted by the CCP is that “the capitals of the two countries emphasize the importance of Sino-US relations”, and the other is that “the two sides should strengthen communication and cooperation.”

These two principles are the most basic in the normal diplomatic relations of any two countries, otherwise there is no need to continue contacts. The two most basic principles between China and the United States need to be confirmed. The CCP’s return of a large book and special book just shows how embarrassing the relationship between China and the United States is.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China stated for Biden that “the two sides should strengthen communication and cooperation.” Biden emphasized “strengthening communication” but did not emphasize “cooperation”. He also emphasized the “complexity of the relationship between the two countries and the importance of responsibly managing competition.” The two sides failed to reach even the most basic principles of bilateral exchanges. “consensus”.

2. Does the CCP recognize the “competitive” relationship

“Interview Questions and Answers” stated:
Regarding competition, President Xi Jinping pointed out during the meeting that cooperation should be the first priority. There are areas of competition in cooperation, such as the economic field… Whether it is the establishment of competition rules or the installation of “guardrails” for relations…

Fact check:
On October 6, U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan met with Yang Jiechi, Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the CCP in Zurich, Switzerland. The White House statement at the time emphasized the “importance of maintaining open channels of communication to manage competition between the two countries responsibly.” A statement issued by the Xinhua News Agency stated that it opposes the use of “competition” to define Sino-US relations.

More than a month later, the CCP’s position seemed to have undergone some changes. It also began to talk about “competition,” but also called “competitive fields in cooperation.” The CCP also began to talk about the “guardrail” concept proposed by the United States.

At this meeting, if the two sides really start to discuss “competition” and “guardrail”, there will be no “returning to the right track of healthy and stable development.” The content and relevant interpretations disclosed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China are contradictory to the statement of Xinhua News Agency. Whether the Chinese Communist Party is willing to accept the “competitive” relationship between China and the United States proposed by the United States has become ambiguous.

The CCP wants to deny “competition,” but it does not conform to the status quo; if the CCP recognizes “competition,” it feels that the United States is leading the way. Such vacillation actually shows that the CCP does not have an effective strategy for the United States. Similar vacillations should try to explain to the party, and it has nothing to do with the CCP’s internal fighting. (To be continued)
