Ski jumper Eva Pinkelnigová secured the crystal globe ahead of time for winning the World Cup. Eleventh place in today’s race in Lillehammer was enough to win the trophy for the thirty-four-year-old Austrian. Her German rival Katharina Althaus finished fifth and in the remaining two races of the season she cannot overtake her in the overall standings.
