Rome, 4 July 2022 – The epidemic curve in Italy continues to rise, according to the bottle of today of Covid infections spread by the Ministry of Health. I’m 36,282 new positive cases recorded in the last 24 hours while yesterday (weekend data) the infected were 71,947. The victims are instead 59, two more than yesterday’s 57. A total of 129,908 swabs were performed, including antigenic and molecular, with the positivity rate of 27.9%, stable compared to 27.4% yesterday. There are 303 patients hospitalized in intensive therapy, 12 more than yesterday. The daily admissions are 27. The hospitalized in the ordinary wards are 7,648, 436 more than yesterday.
Coronavirus positive Italians are currently 1,019,179, continuously growing in recent days. This is evidenced by the data from the Ministry of Health. A total of 18,805,756 have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the deaths rise to 168,604. The discharged and healed are 17,617,973, with an increase of 27,590.

Campania
4,837 new positives were registered in Campania out of 12,835 tests carried out. In the bulletin, the Campania Region also indicates 10 deaths, of these 6 in the last 48 hours and the rest occurred in the previous days but recorded only yesterday.
Emilia Romagna
In Emilia-Romagna there are 4,070 new infections. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made rises to 43.9%, just under one positive test every two. Hospital admissions are on the rise. Patients currently hospitalized in intensive care are 28 (+1 compared to yesterday, equal to + 3.7%).
Lombardy
There are 3,249 new cases of Covid in Lombardy compared to 14,230 swabs carried out (22.8%), and 4 people who have died. In intensive care there is a new admission (25, +1) while hospitalizations in the other wards rise to 1,027 (+25).
