FIUMICINO. Italy, the European soccer champion, arrived in Rome at dawn today 12 July. The A319 of Alitalia, flight AZ 9001, coming from London Luton landed at Fiumicino airport at 6.06. A roar when Mancini and Chiellini appeared at the top of the flight ladder at Fiumicino. Meanwhile, the Coverciano Football Museum in Florence, which collects the history and present of the national team, had turned on the blue headlights to illuminate the facade and celebrate Italy’s success at the European Championships. «In a few hours – underlines Matteo Marani, president of the Football Museum – in homage to the Azzurri and their beautiful ride, we will inaugurate a temporary exhibition dedicated to Euro 2020 with the shirts of our players for each match played in this European Championship.
