Autumn continues to do the dress rehearsals at least on a part of Italy. The forecast of tomorrow confirm that Sunday 19 September the weather will continue to be unstable over the northern regions, with heavy showers. The situation is very different in the rest of the country and especially in the South, where in essence it will seem to be in midsummer.
The iLMeteo.it team writes that on Sunday morning the aftermath of the Atlantic disturbance they will produce “further precipitations in the North and in Versilia, locally abundant and also of a stormy nature, especially in Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia”. In the second half of the day the vortex will then begin to move towards the East, leaving room for some rasserenamento on the westernmost sectors and at the same time provoking further disturbances on the Triveneto. It goes without saying, experts also point out, that in the areas affected by bad weather the air will be much cooler, as temperatures will drop by several degrees.
With some exceptions (details at the bottom of the article), the weekend will close instead in the Center and South under the sun and the summer weather. Especially on the southern sectors the protection offered by the African anticyclone will re-propose a scenario from the middle of August, with highs destined to touch even 32 degrees (or even beyond in Sicily).
As for the start of next week, 3BMeteo anticipates that Monday September 20 the anticyclonic shield should guarantee “good weather over most of Italy, except for daytime showers in the eastern Alps”. From Tuesday 21 September a new disturbance arriving on Sardinia could give way to one bad weather phase on some parts of the North and Center. However, this is still quite uncertain information, which will require further checks in the next few hours.
