Microsoft Introduces New Email Function for Account Aliases
Microsoft users now have the option to create a new email alias for their Microsoft account in order to protect their real email from being leaked. This new function allows for convenient account management and increased privacy.
The process for creating a new email alias is simple and can be completed in just a few steps. After logging into your Microsoft account, users can click on “Your Information”, then select “Edit Account Information” and click “Add Email”. From there, a custom name can be entered for the new alias and users can simply click “Add alias” to complete the process.
Once the alias is added, users will be able to receive emails using this new email address and also use it to log in to Microsoft-related services in the future. If the user decides they no longer want the alias, they can easily remove it by clicking “Remove” and confirming the action.
This new function provides Microsoft users with added security and privacy when using their accounts for various services and communication. The ability to create and manage email aliases directly through the Microsoft account interface enhances the user experience and provides peace of mind.
